THE DAIRY FARMER PROJECT

A new original play inspired by years of interviewing dairy farmers in Wyoming County, NY. Greg and Abbie are two rural dairy farmers trying to keep their small family farm afloat. Abbie sees the possibilities in thinking beyond the traditional methods. Greg is stuck feeling like he’s letting himself and his family down.

The Dairy Farmer Project is supported by New York State Council on the Arts, Wyoming County Arts Council, Shake on the Lake Theater Company and received a workshop production at Houghton Hall, NYC and was directed by Violeta Picayo with dramaturgy by Emily Zemba.

The Green Dress

Inside the nightmare of one woman, flowers and pearls and dresses and make-up are facades that are stripped away. Social elite rub elbows with malleable monks and the champagne is as deceiving as an artist's brush strokes. This original Expressionist play takes us through the mind of a woman on the edges of society and on the brink of discovery.
