Vinny is an adjunct professor of theater at Manhattanville College and was an artist-in-residence for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Su Casa 2018 residency program. He has worked as a teaching artist at the Seaside Senior Center  and the Bayside Senior Center through the Queens Theatre. At Sarah Lawrence he piloted as senior citizens creative writing class which he later brought to the Yonkers Public Library.  He has taught workshops in theater and performance to inmates at the Groveland Correctional Facility in Upstate New York, creative writing, sketch comedy and acting at the Sarah Lawrence College Fulbright Scholars summer program, improv comedy at the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven,  and masterclasses in playwriting at the SUNY Purchase high school writers summer program.
